Thyme For Tea

Created out of a love of all things gracious and beautiful, Thyme For Tea is the fruition of
a dream born many years ago in the mind of a child.  One of my earliest memories is of
"taking tea" each afternoon at four with Nana.  We would drink our tea and have some
cookies or a slice of toast while listening to "The Shadow" on the radio.  After we had
drunk our tea, Nana would always 'read the Leaves.'  She would swirl the liquid around
in the bottom of the cup and pour it into the saucer.  Then she would tell me a fascinating
story about what the leaves said.  That was over half a century ago and Nana has been
gone for a very long time but I remember our "tea times" like it was yesterday.

In the years since those early "tea parties," I have been privileged to take tea in many
different situations and with many different people, most notably Norman Rockwell and
his wife Molly in the early 1970's while I was Mr. Rockwell's private nurse and most
recently aboard the Queen Elizabeth II while on the way to Bermuda.

A trip to Thyme for Tea offers a respite from the hurried, stressful pace of our lives.  Sip a
cup of fine leaf tea and browse among the dozens of gifts and accessory items.  Refresh
the mind and renew the spirit in the comfortable ambiance of our lovely dining room.
